Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of the lab equipment
- Mechanical and electrical start-up of new lab tools
- Support the process engineers in executing the customer demonstrations
- Support the product development by conducting design validation tests and delivering improvement proposals
- Documents the tools configuration and reports the tests results
- Support lab facility work
- Support lab "on-call duty" team (Bereitschaftsdienste)
- Act as liaison for cross functional projects across organizations
- Ability to work independently, high degree of flexibility and capable to work in a cross functional environment
Qualifications:
- Technical education (eg. LAP, HTL or FBS-Degree) in mechatronics, electrotechnics or mechanics
- Excellent electronic skills
- Good understanding of electrics and wiring schematics
- Familiar with MS-Windows and MS-Office products
- Good English oral and written communication skills
- Work experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and/or at a semiconductor equipment suppliers would be an asset
- Experience in the handling of hazardous chemicals and gases
- Experience with pneumatic systems and robotics
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group D € 2.566,17 or E € 2.956,43, depending on the education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
