In 2020 and 2021, Takeda was recognized as a Top Employer and Great Place to Work in Austria.To further strengthen the local R&D team, at the site in 1220 Vienna, Takeda is seeking for aCommunications Lead EU R&D (f/m/x)who acts as an active ambassador and driver for an engaging culture:Develop and actively drive and implement a communication strategy and road map for R&D Europe with focus on Austria and Switzerland in the frame of Global R&DPartner with R&D Global Communications to ensure a consistent execution of key global, regional and local internal and external communications initiativesLiaise and coordinate with Communication partners and stakeholders within the company, including on‐site Communications Leads in Austria and ZurichBuild and manage a system of internal and external communication channels, incl. SharePoint, Yammer, LinkedIn, internal newsletters, virtual eventsProduce and adopt content for internal and external audience in traditional and social media maximizing the impact through appropriate tools, channels, and platformsSupport communications between Global R&D and internal European stakeholders at regional and local levelManage external agencies and ensure quality of outputPrepare press releases, media statements, comments, articles, Q&As, brochures, and other media materials based on needsSupport media/community/academic/industry world outreach through development of press releases and talking points, contact list creation and maintenance, press distributions and monitoringProvide PR support for R&D during exhibitions and conferencesActively support the Austrian and Swiss R&D Leadership Team in internal and external communication matters Requirements:Completed education in journalism, communications or public policy/public affairs preferredDemonstrated administrational and project management experience in a global environmentExperience in writing compelling stories or articles for internal and/or external audiencesStrong knowledge of communications approaches and best practicesdistinctive interpersonal skills combined with cultural sensitivityEffective communication with individuals at all levels of the organizationAble to develop solutions based on guidance and to handle conflicting prioritiesSelf‐starter with hands-on mentalityExcellent English and German language skills fluently spoken and writtenAbility to work in a hybrid working model The minimum salary for this position is € 4.527,78 gross per month (full time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry), due to your professional experience and your qualifications an increased payment is intended.
