Research Associate / Lab Investigator (m/w/d).

Your Accountabilites

• Preparation and execution of process development lab and pilot scale studies applying general preparative purification methods such as chromatography, filtration (depth filtration, membrane filtration, …), precipitations, centrifugations, and virus clearance steps.
• Maintenance of established methods and supporting development of alternative methods, when key reagents are no longer available
• Implementation of new equipment and equipment upgrades in the lab environment (new technology evaluation) (for Sr. Research Associates and Lab Investigaors only)
• Independent planning, accurate performing, critical analyzing, diligent documenting of experimental work
• Preparation and support study plan and study report generation (for Lab Investigators only)
• Lab organization to ensure quality and to keep lab technology at industry best-in-class standard

Your Qualifications

• HTL degree, bachelor or master degree of chemistry, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, chemical/process engineering or related fields is required
• Experience in laboratory work within the last years in life sciences
• Knowledge of laboratory related quality and safety guidelines
• Scientific knowledge in process development and about plasma derived therapies fractionation and purification processes beneficial
• Technically skilled and mostly independent, diligent, and proactive workstyle
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of state of the art technologies within the scientific community in life sciences
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills

• The incumbent must be creative, courageous, collaborative, solution-focused and work mostly independent.
• Willingness to limited weekend duties required.
• External communication with vendors, customers, service providers and collaborators as required to fulfill the assigned technical tasks
• Willingness to work at lab and pilot scale at ambient and cooled temperatures during experimental setups.

Motivated employees must be remunerated appropriately.

The minimum salary for the following positions is:

• Reserach Associate € 3,600.00 gross per month
• Sr. Research Associate € 4,655 gross per month
• Lab Investigator € 4,850 gross per month

Based on your professional experience and qualifications, a higher salary is envisaged. The contract is limited till September 2025.

The actual remuneration package will be guided by your professional experience and your qualifications, so increased payment is possible.
